Fees and funding options.

Medicare

Banksia Speech Pathology does not bulk-bill however eligible clients can claim a Medicare rebate for up to 5 sessions (each calendar year) of approximately $60 per session in the 25/26 financial year. Fees for services may need to be paid in full prior to making a claim. Please speak to your GP about eligibility for a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plan, or alternative Medicare rebates.

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS)

NDIS funding may be available for individuals with lifelong disability or for children under the age of 7 who meet the early intervention requirements. Speech pathology reports may be used to apply for NDIS funding.  

 

Private Health Insurance

Please contact your health insurance company to clarify whether speech pathology is included in your policy, as well as rebates and annual limits.
